Anime Piece Quests Guide: How to Find, Accept and Complete Quests
Quests are the core way to level up in Anime Piece. Learn where quest NPCs are marked on the map, how to accept and complete defeat, gathering and job quests, and how repeating quests levels you up until the chain points to the next island.
Quick answer
Quests come from NPCs marked on your map. Talk to the quest giver to accept the quest, finish its objective - usually defeating a counted number of enemies, gathering marked items, or doing a small job - then repeat it until your level reaches the threshold the quest shows. When you cross that level, the quest changes and the chain eventually points you to the next island.
- The tutorial on the starter island points you to your first quest giver, who asks you to defeat five bandits.
- Quests are level locked: each one covers roughly 5-10 levels, and you cannot skip them.
- After completing a quest you can repeat it - or turn on auto-repeat - to keep earning money and experience.

How to find and accept quests
Every quest starts with an NPC, and the game marks your next quest on the map, so finding it is usually just a matter of walking to the marker and talking. On Foosha Island, the safe starter island with PvP disabled, the tutorial points you to a guide NPC - Zac in one player's footage, though the name can vary - who hands you the first mission: help defeat the five bandits causing chaos around the island.
Once you accept a quest, the objective appears on screen with a counter. The first bandit quest tracks your progress toward level 10, starting at 0 out of 10, so you always know what the quest wants and how far along you are. Before you start grinding, it is also worth grabbing any free boosts from the Anime Piece codes page.
The three kinds of quest objectives
Defeat quests
The most common objective is killing a counted number of specific enemies - the opening quest asks for five bandits. Boss-defeat quests work the same way: an NPC gives you a mission to take down a named boss, such as Rigaro on the starter island.
Gathering quests
Collection quests send you after counted items: fruit from trees while monkeys attack you as you pick, 10 bananas on Jungle Island (some guarded by monkeys), marked trees to chop after buying an axe from a shop (about 4-5 trees), hay to collect with a hoe, and flowers scattered around later islands that you gather and deliver to an NPC. One rule matters here: only the marked targets count toward the quest. Chopping unmarked trees does not progress it, so gather exactly what the game highlights.
Job quests
Some quests are simple work instead of combat. You might feed horses (grab a hoe, collect wheat, turn hay into feed, then interact with each horse), repair fire hydrants (buy the repair tool, then fix the marked hydrants), deliver dishes to the tables whose icons match the food, carry colored spheres to the scientists who match their color, or pick up fallen boxes and return them to their owner.
Repeat quests until the level threshold changes
How the cycle works
Accept the marked quest
Talk to the NPC marked on your map. The UI shows the objective and a progress counter.
Complete the objective
Defeat the counted enemies, gather the marked items, or finish the job the NPC describes.
Repeat for money and experience
After each completion the game offers a repeat option, and an auto-repeat control saves you talking to the NPC every time.
Cross the level threshold
Each quest covers roughly 5-10 levels. When your level reaches the target the quest shows, the active quest changes.
The new quest, sometimes on another island, starts the loop again.
Repetition is the core of leveling. Players repeat a quest until their level crosses its threshold, then walk to the newly marked objective; in the West City village the chain changes exactly every five levels, running 100 to 105, 105 to 110, and so on. Because quests are level locked, you cannot skip ahead - repeating is how you progress. Between quests, spend your stat points and improve your equipment, as the game itself advises; the leveling guide covers where the chain goes next.
What quests pay out
Every repeat earns money and experience. Some quests add extras: early quests hand out the Pirate Hat accessory, reaching level 10 grants a title, picking up a poisonous fruit while collecting fruit earns the "Unlucky" title, and the repair quest line rewards a Worker title plus weapon mastery. For where quest money is best spent, see Anime Piece money.
Multi-part quests and canceling
Some quests have several sequential parts. The barn quest, for example, asks you to collect hay first, then turn it into feed, and finally feed each horse - finish each part before moving to the next. If you would rather move on, you can also cancel your current quest and head to the next one.
