Anime Piece Armament Haki Guide: How to Unlock and Upgrade V1, V2 and V3

Armament Haki in Anime Piece unlocks at level 200 from the Haki trader in the cave past the racetrack. V1 quests plus V2 and V3 costs, materials and locations.

Quick answer

Armament Haki V1 unlocks at level 200: find the Haki trader in the cave past the racetrack on the level-200 island (most guides call it Sorcerer Island; one walkthrough calls it Jutson Island), complete his three quests — cumulative damage, five banana splits and 25 boss kills — then buy the Haki for 50,000 cash. V2 comes from Jungle Island and V3 from Starter Island, and V3 is the final stage: there is no V4 or V5.

The three purchases add up to 135,000 cash, and V2 and V3 need the same two materials — so it pays to start farming Master Kame and Broly early.

The walkthrough above runs the whole V1–V3 chain in order — the level-200 damage quest at the Haki trader, the material runs for the V2 and V3 payments, and the inventory checks for the Magic Ball and Armament Crystal along the way.

How to unlock Armament Haki V1

  1. Reach level 200. The Haki trader will not give you the quest chain before then. If you are still climbing, the Anime Piece leveling guide speeds that up.
  2. Go to the level-200 island — Sorcerer Island in most guides. Sail there by boat (head left from Starter Island) or teleport directly with a teleport crystal, which drops from bosses.
  3. Cross the racetrack and enter the cave. The Haki trader inside gives you the V1 quest chain.

The three quests come in order:

  • Deal cumulative damage. The total differs between guides — one walkthrough finished at 100,000 damage, another at 1,000,000 — but it counts every point of damage you deal to anything, so it fills in while you grind. Grouping several NPCs and wiping them out together speeds it up.
  • Deliver five banana splits. See the crafting route below.
  • Defeat 25 bosses. Only bosses count — mini-bosses do not. The weak Rigaro boss respawns roughly every minute, which makes him a convenient target for grinding out all 25.

Once all three are done, the trader sells you Armament Haki V1 for 50,000 cash. One walkthrough suggests arriving with about 70,000: 50,000 for the Haki itself and roughly 20,000 to cover travel between the islands during the quests.

Crafting the five banana splits

Each banana split is made on Starter Island by the Annie Cookie NPC and needs 2 water buckets and 5 bananas, so the quest adds up to 10 water buckets and 50 bananas.

  • Water buckets: buy them from the NPC at the well in the garden area. Guides cite slightly different prices (35 or 50 cash each), so bring a little extra.
  • Bananas: they drop from the monkey NPCs on Starter Island and Jungle Island, but not every kill — one guide estimates roughly a 40–50% drop chance — so expect to farm a few monkeys for the full 50.

Hand everything to Annie Cookie, craft the five splits, and deliver them back to the Haki trader.

How to upgrade to Armament Haki V2

The V2 NPC stands straight ahead on Jungle Island. Once you own V1, he makes your Haki 20% stronger for 35,000 cash plus two materials:

  • Magic Ball: drops 100% of the time from Master Kame (also called Master Roshi or Old Fighter) at the Good House on Dragon Ball island. He has around 20,000 HP and a second phase, which makes solo runs slow, so bring help. He spawns periodically, and a chat message announces when he appears.
  • Armament Crystal (also called Crystal Armament or Armament Black Crystal): drops from the Broly raid boss. To summon Broly, bring an M-chip to the scientist NPC inside Capsule Corp on West Island. The M-chip drops from the Frieza boss at the martial arts arena — sources cite a 15% or 20% chance — or you can buy one with Robux instead of grinding Frieza. Broly has a huge HP pool and multiple guides warn against attempting the raid solo.

How to upgrade to Armament Haki V3

The V3 NPC is back on Starter Island: take the left path past the garden and look near the water. The upgrade asks for the same materials as V2 — a new Magic Ball and a new Armament Crystal — plus 50,000 cash, so plan on farming Master Kame and Broly a second time. In return, the Haki buff rises to 30% and your Haki gains a visible aura. V3 is the end of the line: there is no V4 or V5.

Using Armament Haki

Toggle Armament Haki with the J key. How much it adds depends on your stats and weapon, so treat these player-reported numbers as examples rather than fixed values: one player's M1 hits went from 75 to 82 with V1, another saw 163 become 179, one recorded 195 per M1 with V2, and 212 with V3. V2 also shows visibly different effects from V1, and V3 adds the aura.

Changing your Haki color

There are two ways to change your Haki color: with Robux, or by buying the Haki color changer for 150 bananas from the monkey trader shop — a roaming shop that only appears from time to time, so you may need to look around or switch servers to catch it. Bananas come from defeating the monkey NPCs on any island that has them.

All three upgrades together cost 135,000 cash plus a lot of island-hopping, so it is worth checking Anime Piece codes while you save. Once the aura is on, your Haki is maxed — everything from here is stats, weapons and style.
