Anime Piece Raids: How to Start and Fight the Broly Raid
How to start the Broly raid in Anime Piece: get a mode chip from the level 130 Frieza quest boss, use it at the capsule, and enter the raid portal to fight Broly for mythical loot.
Quick answer
To start the Broly raid in Anime Piece, defeat the Frieza-based quest boss (the level 130 quest) until he drops a mode chip, use the chip at the capsule next to his area, then talk to the NPC there to enter the raid portal and fight Broly.
- The mode chip drops from the Frieza boss with a 20% chance, or you can buy one inside the Capsule Corp building.
- Do not try to solo Broly — the guide warns it probably will not work.
- Broly drops mythical items plus the Armament Black Crystal, which you need for the Armament Haki V2 quest.
How to start the Broly raid
Broly is the raid encounter in Anime Piece, and the whole route to him runs through one spot: the Frieza quest boss and the capsule beside him. Take it in this order:
Checklist
- Take the level 130 quest and beat the Frieza boss
The raid's gatekeeper is a boss based on Frieza, tied to the level 130 quest. One guide directs you to West Island to find him.
- Keep fighting him until the mode chip drops
He drops the mode chip with a 20% chance per kill, as reported by a guide. If you would rather not grind Frieza, another guide says you can buy the chip inside the Capsule Corp building instead.
- Use the mode chip at the capsule
The capsule sits right next to the Frieza quest boss area. Using the chip there is what gives you access to the raid.
- Talk to the NPC at the capsule
If the raid portal is open, the NPC lets you walk in. Other players may already be inside running the raid when you arrive.
Have not reached the level 130 quest yet? The Anime Piece leveling guide covers the climb.
What the Broly raid drops
- Mythical items — described as very strong gear, which is what makes the raid worth the setup.
- Armament Black Crystal — the item needed for the Armament Haki V2 quest. The Armament Haki guide walks through that upgrade path.
Fighting Broly
One guide's advice on going alone is blunt: soloing Broly probably will not work. Round up other players before you use your mode chip at the capsule, then talk to the NPC and head through the portal together.
